How can you not buy one? The new 3G iPhone, 8 gb size, will retail for $199. No, this is not a joke; you have not read wrong, nor gone crazy. Though you might just have to go crazy for that insane deal. If you are looking for a new cell phone, you can’t beat that price.
To break it down further, the 8 gb iPod nano retails for $199. Let’s see, same price and storage plus you get a phone – sounds good to me! Of course, you’re still stuck with that ol’ service contact (and I don’t want to use AT&T as my carrier), but the price is absolutely astounding. Now we’ll see if they cut the prices for anything else. How about $299 for the 32 gb iPod Touch? I’ll take that!
This is, without a doubt, the absolute most incredible announcement from Apple. We’re talking bigger than the original iPhone announcement. For once, the first time in the history of Apple, a major product arrives with a price tag that leaves jaws dropped – because it is SO AFFORDABLE! That’s like Apple coming out with the Air and saying it will retail for $799. What can you possibly complain about?
There’s sure to be some further discussion, once people actually get their hands on the phone. Maybe 3G isn’t as fast as they claim; maybe the coverage isn’t so good. Maybe the battery life claims are overinflated; maybe the new App Store doesn’t work as well as they thought it would. But whatever happens, this will absolutely put iPhones in a lot more hands. It can only be truly awesome!

tell me where or when i can get one. i have wanted aiphone from day one but just could not afford to buy one. this sounds fantastic if this is the real price. hang on a minute, i live in the Uk so we will probably have to wait another 6 months and pay double of something silly. Arrgg it’s so un fair. (mini tantrum occurs).
