Final Fantasy Tactics A2
Sunday, June 22nd, 2008Wow! Before you know it (meaning, this Tuesday) a new exciting game will arrive for the Nintendo DS. It’s the follow-up to Final Fantasy Tactics for the PlayStation and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for the GameBoy Advance. I’ve never played the former, but have spent many, many hours playing the GBA version. So many hours in fact that it is the only game I have ever beaten (meaning, won the final battle). What excitement that was, and now soon, I will be able to get the next game. Though it features much of the same childish storyline, it’s supposed to offer even more options than its predecessor, so it should be highly enjoyable.
Without having played it, I am hard pressed to write an entire post about it. So I won’t try. Instead, I’ll let you know that I only have 9 more work days to go until I am officially a free man. After the July 4 weekend, I will begin working out everyday, trying to write more, and working on beats for the CellBlock album. In fact – if you have any interest in making a beat for the album, please let me know (or just send it along). I would be more than happy to give you a production credit for the particular song (or songs) for which you contribute the beat.
Not much else happening around these parts. Lauren and I went up to the farmer’s market on Saturday morning, though we didn’t buy anything. Instead, after walking around, we got some beverages at Barriques and stood around by the capital. A lovely time had by all. Last night, we went bowling with Beth and Tony. Lauren had an excellent second game, scoring 142! This performance helped her and Beth beat Tony and me both rounds. Though even with that defeat, both games saw all four of us score over 100 each! Pretty darn impressive!
