Happy Easter!
Sunday, April 8th, 2007It was on this day, some 1900-something years ago, that our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ rose from the D-E-A-D! For real, ya’ll! And because he did that, we are all saved and can all go live in His ever-lasting glory hanging out up in the clouds of heaven with His Dad, the big G-O-D!
I’ve arrived back in Wisconsin after a week in beautiful North Carolina. My grandparents head down there in the wintertime, to stay with my great aunt on our family property down there. It’s a wonderful place, out in the country, surrounded by forest and farmland. So while I didn’t do a whole lot, it was just what I needed – some time away from work. But it’s also wonderful to be back. Being away from Lauren for a week made the time pass very, very slowly.
So now it’s Easter and I have some shopping to do, but I’m not sure if any stores are going to be open. So instead I’m about to start some cleaning around here, while watching reruns of America’s Next Top Model. The show is very addictive.
Perhaps I’ll have more to write about later in the week. But, until then, stay tuned, stay cool, and… yah.
